6 Week Pottery Class Tuesday: April 8th - May 13th
Self-paced weekly ceramic classes for students to build their hand-building and wheel throwing skills.
6 Week Class Session Dates
Tuesdays | 6 pm - 9 pm | 4/8, 4/15, 4/22, 4/29, 5/6, 5/13
Taught by Tina Williams at
Sunset Canyon Pottery, 5809 Burnet Rd, Austin, TX 78756
Join us for our weekly deep dive into pottery! We start class with a slab-built or wheel demonstration. New students are encouraged to follow along to learn clay techniques.
Experienced students can pursue their own projects as we can work together to achieve these goals.
My goal with these classes are to build skills working with clay , creative confidence, and more importantly a community of like minded students. Typically students will enroll continuously for 1-3 years which allows for our community to only grow stronger. I put on two annual student showcases to highlight the progress and diversity among the artwork created in classes in the Spring and Fall.
We celebrate birthdays, engagements, and other important life events as a group. My hope is to create a space for lasting connections so classes are limited to 10 students. If a session is full, please join the waitlist to receive an email notification for next session registration.
Session fees covers stoneware clay, tools, firing fees, glazes, 6 hours of open studio access and 18 hours of class.
